I am currently enrolled in a technical college for Business Applications Programming and am about to enter my 2nd year. Two weeks ago, I purchased the base model of the 13' MacBook Air (Early 2015) from Best Buy, which is the same version you can find for $999 on the Apple Store page. Silo 2 5 6 x 8. My question is, will this be a good laptop to take me through my 6 semesters of this school, plus possibly an additional semester or 2 for Mobile Applications Programming as well, considering this laptop has the base 4GB RAM and 1.6GHz processor?
So far, I have learned to code in QBasic, which I used qb64 for just fine. But I am now going to be getting into C++, Java, Visual Basic.NET, C# Database Development with ADO.NET, ASP.NET, and then iOS Application Programming. With that said, does anyone see me running into any kind of issues using the base model 13' MacBook Air? I know the memory cannot be upgraded, which is why I am considering returning this MBA to Best Buy and getting either another 13' MacBook Air with upgraded memory and/or processor, or just the base model 13' MacBook Pro. I'm not concerned with the 13' screen, I have a maxed out 27' iMac at home for serious work, I just need to know if this MBA is good enough while I'm at school and any in-class assignments I may have. But when I finish school, I'll work exclusively on my iMac, but I'll also then buy a maxed out MacBook Pro 15' as well. Photo sense 2 1 2 download free. I just got the MBA for easier and quicker access at school in case I needed to move around with it a lot.
